threads + wares

This past weekend I went to the Threads + Wares event.  Carol Gilbert of Yorktown Road sent me a postcard about this event.  I bought one of her lovely textured bags. This is the bag I got.

Before I arrived at her booth, I found a vintage Issey Miyake top. I couldn't belive the price so I snatched it.  This is how it looks:

It comes with this bag to store and keep the pleats of the piece.

You can see the hand stitched detail at the hem of the shirt.  Beautifully made.

I'm taking another photography class.  I've taken many and you learn different perspectives from different teachers.  Each has their own preferences in how they shoot and what equipment they use. I've taken Nicole's  101 class in August and am now taking her 102 class.   One of the assignments was to pick an item from a "grab bag" that Nicole filled up and take pictures of that item 6 different ways.  I grabbed a baggage tag.  Here are my photos:
