I'm starting to knit again. I promised a friend I'd knit her baby a hat. I'm almost done with this one. I also bought yarn yesterday during lunch time at work from Art Fibers to knit a sweater for the new little one. Hopefully I actually finish it before she can grow out of it. I knitted a sweater for my son when he was 1 1/2 but but by the time I actually finished it, it didn't really fit him. It wasn't the best of work anyway and I think I messed it up with the buttons I deceided to put on it. Anyway, this peach and cream sweater is going to be a pullover with raglan sleeves, kind of like those jersey t-shirts. I described what I wanted to do and they put it in their software with the actual yarn I was using and it spit out the pattern for the size I'm planning to make. I'm using size 10 1/2 needles for the most part so hopefully I'll knit it up quick.
I also finished making zippered pouches for gifts and swaps. I took a close up so you can see a little bit more of the fabric. I love the monkey fabric.
It's a day off from work today because my back was hurting and for some reason my stomach is feeling heavier and I just didn't feel like going to work even though it is one of the busiest months of the year for me. After March I'll have 3 more months of work - can't wait but then again I'll also be losing sleep when I'm on leave.
i found you via shimandsons and i think your blog is amazing. great sewing, so cute! ill keep on reading.

Those yarn looks so fabulous.
I don't think we can find those kinds here in Japan.
I'm using your zippered pouch and it's so useful.
Thanks, my dear!
