Yesterday we went to the Cherry Blossom Festival. I picked up this little bag:
Nikonina had a booth there. Anne saw the booth first and when me and my sister saw the bag she got, we had to get one too!
Linda Mihara was there and showed people how to fold this:
She let Jason have the sample and so I made one at home too!
...And another one:
They're fun to make. Maybe good for when Christmas comes around again.
Folding for Nancy. Just a sneak peak...
Wrapping gifts for parties this weekend and one for the mail...
Knitting fingerless gloves from a pattern my co-worker created...
Dining...
at the Garden Court...
Here's what I've been doing:
Making origami airplanes with my son:
Knitting baby hats: (a co-worker put together a project to knit baby hats because Lion Brand gave us a whole lot of yarn - which once all done, will be donated)...
Working on my tie top tank.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I made these favors the past weekend- yes, I folded all these little bags:
My sister and sister-in-law punched holes and helped put the ribbons through:
Made a couple small drawstring pouches:
Made chocolate covered strawberries:
Bought these two shirts on sale at a local street fair from Abe Jones:
...and here is one of my son's creations - a star wars spaceship made out of his legos:
Jason's last day of his art classes was yesterday. Here is some of his work:
Here is a piece I did of connecting cranes from this book.
I can't believe how fast one month has gone by. My husband bought a little dessert to celebrate Ava's 1st month.
I'm still trying to figure out who she looks like. Babies' faces change all the time. Here is a picture of my son at one month next to Ava at one month...my son's face changed a lot his first year so I'm sure Ava's will too... (do you see any similiarities?)...
Here's another origami picture -- I think these would make good table decorations...(the paper is from Paper Source ).
I folded this box from the Paper Craft Kit published by Chronicle Books. The kit comes with paper and instructions to do a few mini projects.
I'm also starting a sweater with a kit I purchased from Clickety Knits. Since I know it might take me awhile I opted to make the sweater for a 6-12 month old. I do plan to make a newborn sweater but I'll see how much time I have left.
