another photography class...

I took another photography class...trying to hone my skills and practice with CS3. These are pictures I took at lunch and during our shoot assignment.  I learned a lot in this class.  It was a full weekend of class time, reviewing fundamentals of photography and learning more about my camera (which I've actually had for almost 4 years now).  It helped that the teacher was familiar with my camera and that the rented cameras for the class were the Canon 20Ds.  Just two photos now - I took all RAW pictures and I don't have the energy right now to convert them all.

finished and starting...

We went to Ikea last Saturday and I bought some fabric there to make new couch pillows.  I picked the red and orange flower fabric to add some brightness to my green couches. I finished these pillows rather quickly.

I also finished my sister's black scarf made with the brushed silk from this post.

Now I'm starting a little baby hat made from a Rebecca pattern. I'm knitting with 100% cotton and there is simply no give at all but I like how it feels.
