Here is my "sew i knit" project. I just made a simple hot pad - same instructions as a quilt but smaller. Here are my pictures step by step. I did this while the baby was in her bouncer and since I had limited time I didn't iron at all. I think it came out okay...a bit sloppy but okay. I quilted straight lines across - a simple design.

It's very cute. I like how the squares are not aligned together, gives the patchwork a modern edge.
