I got my package from the color-iffic swap. Here are the pictures. It's from Mafalda Sofia Matos from Portugal. I got ribbon, crepe paper, a unique red yarn, handmade cards, earrings and a lot of handcrafted goodies all packaged in this red box.
I also got the fabric I ordered from Aranzi Aronzo and a tiny sewing kit.
I learned to make the zippered tote bag with divided pockets on the inside. I also made an amigurimi bunny (inspired by my little mochi's bunny) with a dress from leftover fabric from the bag. Here are the pictures...
Today was one of my co-workers last day of work. She gave me this perfume bottle. She said the painting is inside the bottle and that the artist uses a special pen for it. There are pictures on both sides.
I also did some shopping here for some of their cute fabric. I don't know what I'm going to make yet but I couldn't resist.
....and the gallery for the postcard swap is posted here on my little mochi's flickr site.
I also got my Gifty package. Cori was my gifty partner and I got a whole lot of stationery goodies that she made herself. She put all of them in this box that she decorated herself. She sent one of her favorite pens the millennium. I really like how it writes. Since I'm left-handed sometimes the pen ink smears when I write but this one doesn't. I also got a book about knitting called "Knitticisms...and Other Purls of Wisdom"- it has great vintage pictures and tells you how not to knit and other little stories. Thanks Cori!
I made more bags with this blossom fabric I bought. This set below was made for my co-worker's daughter who just turned 5 and the other zippered bags are going to my cousin-in-laws and one i'm sending as part of my package for the Gifty swap. Me and my sister are going to learn something new to sew, the zippered tote bag in a couple weeks, so that should be fun & interesting.
